About me
Performance Director
I have worked as Technical Director at the Royal Spanish Canoe Federation, and I feel very fortunate to have helped so many athletes fulfil their dreams of winning Olympic medals and World Titles. Currently, as Performance Director for Paracanoe and Canoe Sprint at Paddle UK, I am focused on maintaining our world-leading position in Paracanoe while building a stronger sprint team to achieve Olympic success at LA28 and beyond.
Doctor in Psychology
I hold a PhD specialising in sport performance psychology, and I have worked as a lecturer at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU).
World Champion
I was an international kayaker for over 15 years and during that time I won two World titles with my teammates.
