I am a high performance director and consultant based in San Sebastian (Basque Country, Northern Spain) where I live with my wife and three children.
I was an international kayaker for over 15 years and during that time I won two World titles with my teammates.
I got a Ph.D. in Psychology of Education specializing in sport performance psychology. I periodically work at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) as a lecturer.
I also work as a Performance Director at the Royal Spanish Canoe Federation. I was the Team Leader at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, where the Spanish Canoeing team won four medals (three gold and a bronze).
At the same time, I help people who want to reach and maintain their potential in different areas related to performance.
I apply evidence-based procedures and experience based practices to help people to achieve optimal wellbeing while delivering their best performance.
